Peer Support - A way forward driven by people with disability - A co-production project
This research project was a partnership between two peer led disability organisations, Community Disability Alliance Hunter (CDAH) and Diversity Disability Alliance (DDAlliance); Carrie Hayter Consulting; and Dr Meredith Tavener from the University of Newcastle.
CDAH and DDAlliance have a well-established history of supporting people with disability to become peer leaders in the community. Peer leaders co-produced and co-led the research to explore the benefits and challenges of peer support into two peer support organisations
